Second Face is a Group exhibition featuring Romi Thornton’s print Muesli Crying Oldest Ouched, 2026. Second Face explores facades and role playing.
Muesli Crying Oldest Ouched, 2026 investigates our relationship with online worlds through the lens of gnostic re-enchantment; the intersection of insomnia, depersonalisation and the impermanence of memory. The 3D rendered image takes on the perspective of someone navigating a dream-like world filled with fragments of online detritus, such as a text based CAPTCHA. The piece is part of a larger series of works which demonstrate the fragility of reality, life, and memories.
